Sky Diamond

We curated and produced in collaboration with the artist his largest sculpture to date, a 40-foot 3D diamond created using fluorescent light tubes to make 23 prism shapes formed into two equilateral triangles. The massive diamond dominated the industrial space engaging viewers from all angles. Acting as a shadow, a diamond-shaped pool of water was cast along the floor, capturing the intense reflections and allowing the installation to feel twice in size. This treatment allowed viewers the unique experience of engaging with both the positive and negative space of an object at the same time.
